The bit nobody expects
We buy as well as clear.
Most clearance firms charge you to take everything away. We look first. Furniture, collectables, tools, china, the things gathering dust in the loft: if it has value, we pay cash for it and take it off the bill.
Sometimes the contents cover a good part of the clearance. Occasionally they cover more than that. You won't know until we've looked, and looking costs nothing.

Sheds and outbuildings emptied and swept, whatever state they're in and however long it's been.
Contents purchase
The other side of what we do. Items of value are priced fairly and paid for in cash, offsetting the cost of your clearance.
Bereavement clearances
The hardest clearance, done gently.
Clearing a loved one's home is not a job anyone wants. It's sorting through a life: photographs, letters, furniture that held a family together. Most people aren't ready to do it alone, and they shouldn't have to be.
We've been doing this for families across Derbyshire for twenty-nine years. We work at your pace, room by room if that's easier. Anything that looks personal or valuable is set aside for you, and nothing that matters leaves without your say-so.

Before you call
How does the contents purchase work?
When we come to quote, we look at what's in the property. Anything with resale value, furniture, collectables, tools and so on, gets a fair cash offer. You can take the cash, or have it taken off the clearance price. You decide, no pressure either way.
Do I need to be there?
No. Many clearances happen while families are elsewhere, which is common with bereavement and probate work. As long as we can get access, we'll clear it carefully and let you know when it's done.
Will the house be left tidy?
Spic and span, in one customer's words. Clearing is only half the job; we sweep and tidy before we hand it back.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. We hold public liability insurance and we're an Upper tier registered waste carrier with the Environment Agency (CBDU570974, valid to February 2028 and checkable on the public register). Everything we remove is disposed of legally.
